2. Description of Service

ChatMyResu.me ("the Service") is a web platform that allows users to:

• Upload a resume (PDF or DOCX) and have its contents extracted by AI
• Create and manage a public portfolio page accessible at chatmyresu.me/username
• Provide an AI-powered chatbot on their portfolio that answers questions about their professional background
• Optionally add personal context, customize themes, and review chat analytics (depending on plan)

The AI chatbot is powered by Anthropic's Claude language models. AI-generated responses are based on the data the user has provided and may not always be perfectly accurate.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Be responsible for all activity under your account
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Plans and Pricing

The Service is available in a free tier and a paid Pro tier. Features and limits for each plan are described on the platform. We reserve the right to change pricing and plan features with reasonable notice. Changes to paid plans will take effect at the next billing cycle.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free tier.

5. User Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create on the platform, including your resume data, profile information, and personal context. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.

5.2 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you provide. You agree that your content:

• Is accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge
• Does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights
• Does not contain malicious code, illegal content, or harmful material
• Complies with applicable laws and regulations

5.3 Public Portfolios

Portfolio pages are publicly accessible by default. Anyone with the URL can view your portfolio and interact with your AI chatbot. You are responsible for ensuring you are comfortable with the information displayed on your public portfolio.

6. AI-Generated Content

The chatbot on your portfolio generates responses using Anthropic's Claude AI models based on the data you have provided. Please be aware that:

• AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content and are not liable for decisions made based on chatbot responses
• The chatbot is designed to represent your professional background honestly, but it is not a substitute for direct communication
• Visitors interacting with the chatbot are informed that responses are AI-generated

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload false or fraudulent resume information
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the API
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from other users' portfolios
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or discriminatory
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service for any purpose other than creating and managing a professional portfolio

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through your dashboard settings. Upon deletion:

• All your profile data, resume data, personal context, and chat logs will be permanently deleted
• Your public portfolio URL will become unavailable
• If you have an active paid subscription, it will be cancelled
• This action is irreversible

9. Intellectual Property

The ChatMyResu.me platform, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Stefano Cassola. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without prior written permission.

The name "ChatMyResu.me" and associated logos are trademarks of the operator.

10. Availability and Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. For paid users, we will provide reasonable notice before discontinuing core features.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stefano Cassola and ChatMyResu.me shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

This includes, but is not limited to, damages arising from: inaccurate AI-generated content, data loss, unauthorized access to your account, or any decisions made based on information provided through the platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or EUR 50, whichever is greater.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. For consumers within the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply to the extent they provide greater protection.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Germany. EU consumers may also bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence.

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obligated and generally not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users or through a notice on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
